The Broadcasters Foundation of America (BFOA) has opened a program to help our colleagues who are suffering because of Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
The BFOA is providing one-time emergency grants to broadcasters who need financial help recovering from a natural disaster or acute emergency.
First, please create or sign into your Submittable account.
Next, complete the eligibility questionnaire. If you qualify for our Emergency Grant Program, you will be directed to the full Emergency Grant application.
Please note: Application must be received within 30 days of the emergency. Emergency Grants are for broadcasters who saw damage to personal property following a natural disaster or emergency. We cannot provide assistance for business damage or losses.
We can assist with these efforts by contributing to the BFOA today. The organization accepts personal donations through its Guardian Fund and corporate donations through the Angel Initiative. So please help our colleagues in hurricane-stricken areas by contributing to the BFOA today.
