NYSBA Intern Program for 2026

This is just a reminder about NYSBA’s program helping stations obtain interns. Under the program, a station may select up to 6 interns per year and pay them at the minimum wage rate. NYSBA then reimburses the station at the minimum wage rate for 180 hours per intern, per year. There are additional rules and paperwork requirements. The details and rules can be found here.

Importantly, our job outreach website, Tell Your New York Story, includes a section allowing those seeking internships to upload their contact information, resume, and geographic preferences here. To date, over 500 students seeking an internship have uploaded their information. You can access the list of people seeking an internship here with the password TVRadio2025.
