NYSBA Hall of Famer Sandy Beach Passes Away

NYSBA mourns the loss of legendary Buffalo radio broadcaster Sandy Beach.  Sandy was the heart and soul of broadcasting in Western New York.  In 2017, NYSBA inducted him into our Hall of Fame.  He was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland (2013) and the Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2003.

A renowned WBEN and WKBW Radio voice, Sandy has worked in Buffalo, Hartford, Dallas, San Francisco, and Milwaukee as an on-air talent.  He was also program director for NBC and Capital Cities/ABC.  Sandy is a three-time nominee for Billboard Magazine Personality of the Year.
