No Ad or Digital Taxes in Governor Hochul’s State of the State

Last week Governor Cathy Hochul gave her state of the state address.  We listened very carefully to her speech. We also analyzed the written materials provided by the Governor’s office. 

At this point, there are no proposals that would create a new tax on traditional or digital advertising. Of course, the New York Senate or Assembly may try to insert new taxes in their budget proposals. We are watching this issue very closely.
