CMA Broadcast Awards Finalists Include Buffalo’s WYRK Morning Team and Top National Country Shows

Congratulations are in order for Clay Moden and Rob Banks of Clay and Company on WYRK in Buffalo–Niagara Falls, who have been named finalists for the Country Music Association's 2026 Broadcast Awards in the Medium Market category for Broadcast Personality of the Year.

The CMA Broadcast Awards recognize the on-air personalities and radio stations that keep country music at the heart of their communities. Clay and Company's nomination places Western New York's morning team among the best in the format nationwide, a well-earned recognition of a show that has built a loyal audience through its energy, local roots, and deep connection to listeners.

Several nationally syndicated programs heard on stations across New York were also named among this year’s finalists. Weekly National finalists include American Country Countdown with Ryan Fox (Westwood One / Cumulus Media), The Country Top 40 with Fitz (Hubbard Broadcasting), Crook & Chase Countdown (Jim Owens Entertainment), The Highway Hot 30 Countdown with Buzz Brainard (SiriusXM), and the Steve Harmon Show (Westwood One / Cumulus Media). Daily National finalists are The Angie Ward Show (iHeartMedia), Backstage Country with Elaina Smith (Key Networks), Big D & Bubba (Silverfish Media), The Bobby Bones Show (Premiere Radio Networks / iHeartMedia), and Katie & Company with Katie Neal (Audacy).

The winners will be announced next month ahead of the CMA Awards Pre-Telecast Ceremony. The 60th Annual CMA Awards will then air live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, November 18, on ABC and Disney+.
