BFOA Celebrity Golf Tournament Tees Up Support for Broadcasters in Need

Broadcasters, athletes, and celebrities gathered at Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville on Monday, September 14, for the Broadcasters Foundation of America's 28th annual Celebrity Golf Tournament, chaired this year by Jack Abernethy, CEO of FOX Television Stations.

The tournament is the BFOA's second-largest fundraiser, and all proceeds go directly to the Foundation's mission of providing financial assistance to radio and television professionals facing acute hardship from illness or disaster.

Abernethy called the tournament "one of the industry's signature events," a chance to spend the day with colleagues while supporting a charity that serves as a lifeline for fellow broadcasters.
