About the Role
The Marketing Intern will play an important supporting role in the development and execution of the Cosmos’ marketing and communications initiatives. Working closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications, this individual will assist in creating engaging content, coordinating campaigns, supporting community initiatives, and executing social and digital strategies that grow the club’s visibility and fan base.

Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook).
Basic design or editing skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere).
Interest in digital marketing, analytics, or brand storytelling.
Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Passion for sports, culture, and community building — understanding of soccer a plus.
Availability to assist during select evenings, weekends, and matchdays.
Experience
Real-world experience in sports marketing, communications, and fan engagement.
Mentorship from industry professionals working on the Cosmos’ relaunch.
A strong portfolio of creative and strategic work for a professional soccer brand.
Exposure to cross-department collaboration in a growing sports organization.
Networking opportunities and potential for future employment as the club expands.
