< Back Creative Services/Promotions Intern, Summer/Fall 2024 New York, NY, USA WABC-TV Apply Now Job Type Television About the Role As the intern in our Creative Services Department, you will assist producers in preparing spots for air and will be responsible for shepherding various projects through to completion. You will gain exposure to multiple departments at the station, including News, Digital, Programming, Production, and Sales/Marketing. Video editing experience is essential. You will also support the station on its digital platforms. COMPENSATION: The pay rate for this internship in New York is $21.70 per hour. Requirements Junior/Senior-level standing Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship Be at least 18 years of age Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program. Possess unrestricted work authorization Experience The ability to use DSLR cameras is a plus Outstanding video editing experience in Adobe Premiere Familiarity with ABC7 New York properties (linear, social, digital) Attention to detail, exacting standards, and outstanding organizational skills Major or previous coursework in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, Video Production, or related major About the Company WABC Television (New York), LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
