About the Role
WRGB/WCWN is seeking a dynamic, full-time Anchor/Reporter who is as comfortable leading a newscast as they are driving meaningful, community-impact reporting. This is not a “read the prompter and go home” role. WRGB is seeking a journalist who sees the anchor desk as a platform for accountability, advocacy, and truth-telling - and who is willing to ask tough questions that hold leaders and institutions accountable on behalf of the people we serve.

Requirements
Self-sufficient content creator who thrives in a collaborative newsroom
Willing and able to own a beat, franchise, or issue that serves the public interest
Strong live reporting skills, including breaking news and enterprise storytelling
Exceptional written communication skills with a clear, conversational style
Sound editorial judgment and a proven ethical foundation
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of on-air experience as an anchor and/or reporter
