About the Role
WSYR-TV Newschannel 9, the Nexstar ABC television affiliate in Syracuse, NY seeks a Managing Producer to help lead our winning news team. The market leader in beautiful Central New York is expanding its operation, launching an all-new television streaming platform. The Managing Producer plays a pivotal role in our mission to grow a news audience on all platforms, broadcast, digital, OTT, and social.
COMPENSATION RANGE - $20 - $26 per hour wage
Requirements
Mastery of AP writing style to edit and author digital, social, and on-air content
Strong non-linear video editing skills and familiarity with Adobe Premiere video editing software preferred
Familiarity with ENPS rundown and story management system preferred
Experience
Knowledge of and confidence with OBS a plus
Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment
Valid driver’s license required for hire. A clean driving record is required and must be maintained to be able to safely & confidently operate company motor vehicles
