About the Role
WROC-TV8, a CBS affiliate, is looking for an experienced and driven Weekend Anchor to join our team! This individual will present news stories and other content for all platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging, and meaningful to news consumers. We need an anchor with great writing and producing skills, a knack for showcasing content, attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency.
COMPENSATION: 39K to 44K Annualized - - commensurate with applicant's experience and skill level
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
Fluency in English.
Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to communicate (written and oral), across all platforms and to ad lib when required.
Experience
Experience in news reporting or anchoring preferred.
