About the Role
WROC/RochesterFirst is hiring a Weekend Morning Meteorologist to join our award-winning team. With the credibility and strength of our 75-year trusted brand, WROC/RochesterFirst is Rochester, NY’s universal local source for news, weather, and information across all platforms.
COMPENSATION: $17.79-20.19/hour commensurate with applicant’s experience and skill level.
Requirements
Strong command of social media platforms
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to shoot video and perform non-linear editing a plus
Valid driver's license with a good driving record required
Flexibility to work any shift
Experience
Strong understanding of the field of Meteorology and a proven track record of accurate forecasting
Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
