About the Role
The Newscast Director coordinates the efforts of all technical operators during newscasts and other live and recorded productions.
WIVB TV News 4 is searching for a Part Time Newscast Director. The ideal candidate will work well under pressure and stay cool when things become challenging
COMPENSATION: $19.00 to $20.00
Requirements
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must be able to interact well with video journalists, anchors, videographers, news managers, production, and engineering staff.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Basic computer knowledge, Microsoft Windows 10, Office 365.
Detail oriented.
Experience
Degree in Communications or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience in television, film, or postproduction preferred but not required.
