About the Role
WGRZ, Channel 2 On You Side is looking for a dynamic storm specialist to join our experienced crew of Storm Team 2 Meteorologists.The ideal candidate excels in sustained severe weather coverage during major events, while still being able to tell a relevant audience-focused forecast daily.
We’re more than just snowstorms here in Buffalo, covering a distinct geography where the weather can vary vastly from neighborhood to neighborhood. Having the ability to connect with our audience in a way that keeps them safe and informed is a big part of this job.
Compensation: $90k
Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an On-Air Broadcast Meteorologist
Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science required
Experience on WSI Max family of products
