About the Role

The Maintenance/Transmitter Engineer is responsible for transmitter site maintenance; and maintenance of broadcast and technology related equipment at the studio.

Salary - $55,000 - $65,000

Requirements

  • Oversee, maintain, and repair broadcast transmitter, antenna, and signal distribution systems.

  • Participate in managing and maintaining all broadcast and technology related equipment within the studio.

  • Help implement new technologies and technical infrastructure for the facility.

  • Participate in engineering and other technical projects.

  • Evaluate, select, install, service, and maintain broadcast equipment and information technology systems.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years previous broadcast engineering experience, with an RF and transmitter background.

  • Experience operating, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic broadcast equipment.

  • Satellite ground system equipment experience.

  • ENG (microwave) remote truck and field systems experience.

  • Experience with Newscast production equipment.
