About the Role
The Maintenance/Transmitter Engineer is responsible for transmitter site maintenance; and maintenance of broadcast and technology related equipment at the studio.
Salary - $55,000 - $65,000
Requirements
Oversee, maintain, and repair broadcast transmitter, antenna, and signal distribution systems.
Participate in managing and maintaining all broadcast and technology related equipment within the studio.
Help implement new technologies and technical infrastructure for the facility.
Participate in engineering and other technical projects.
Evaluate, select, install, service, and maintain broadcast equipment and information technology systems.
Experience
Minimum 3 years previous broadcast engineering experience, with an RF and transmitter background.
Experience operating, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic broadcast equipment.
Satellite ground system equipment experience.
ENG (microwave) remote truck and field systems experience.
Experience with Newscast production equipment.
