WNYZ 87.7 NYC Now Korean

WNYZ 87.7 New York is now all Korean during the day and evening. New York City's "Franken-FM" is getting a new format this week, for at least part of the day: WNYZ-LP (Channel 6, aka 87.7 FM) is being leased out to a Korean-language programmer from 5 AM until 8 PM daily. That means the "Indie Darkroom" modern rock that's been airing on WNYZ since the demise of the "Party FM" simulcast last month will be heard only in the evening and overnight hours. (NorthEast Radio Watch)
